The semi final match which will be played in the Santiago Bernebeu Stadium in Madrid will most likely lean towards Real Madrid who have an excellent record at home. Bayern will have a job getting past Madrid’s defense headed by seasoned veteran Pepe. Bayern’s tendency to play through their wings will be countered will by Madrid who play similarly on the counterattack. A major problem for Madrid tonight will be the possible benching of Gareth Bale. Angel Di Maria can and will add significant firepower down the wings, but Bale and Ronaldo’s pace and strength are irreplaceable. Bayern on the other hand, will fly down the wings with power in the form of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery. Bayern’ midfield will contest Madrid’s in every way possible. Expect this match to be even in terms of playing and skill but slightly towards Madrid in terms of Home Advantage. Madrid will pull through 1-0.
